The Future Is Now [2018]

If you could shape the future by rediscovering the past – what would you see?

//Poetry workshop at Goethe-Institut Kigali and final performance evening at Impact Hub Kigali, Rwanda

The Future Is Now is an art project on Afrofuturism that comprises Spoken Word, Poetry, Beat-boxing, and Hip Hop. It is a platform where every story can be told and heard, it is a space where histories can be explored, where colonial realities can be shared, and where narratives can be shifted: We trust that our imagination is the first step towards re-shaping a future where no one is held back by their fears of what they can become.
